We are headquartered in the tiny town of
North Fork, Idaho. We specialize in Float trips down the Main
Salmon River, which is the gateway to the Frank Church River of No
Return Wilderness area. We are a small river float company by
choice, priding ourselves on the excellent quality of our expeditions.
We specialize in personalized river trips but can accommodate larger
groups upon request. Our trips are wonderful family vacations
suitable for ages five and up.
We are a local company and reside here
year-round. Our guides are mature, interesting local
personalities, knowledgeable about the natural history, archaeology and
geology of the area. We love the beauty and grandeur of this river
wilderness and are excited about sharing it with you.

We are a family operation, consisting
of family members, Earl, Sue, Cody and Dena. We are licensed and
bonded by the State of Idaho. We hold a USFS permit to hunt on the
Salmon National Forest and have lived and operated in the same area
since 1972. Outfitting is our full time business and our only
business.
Keating Outfitters will provide you
with the land portion of your Lewis and Clark Trip. You will be in
the hands of life-time experienced guides, familiar with the Salmon
river area, local wildlife and local history.
